Amanda Burdge is a Nashville-based interior designer specializing in residential and commercial interior design.

Amanda began her design career working as an assistant for Julie Smith and Associates, one of Northern California's top interior design firms. As an assistant to Smith, Amanda managed large model home projects and assisted in project management and research for Smith's high-end clients. After working at Smith's firm, Amanda attended the California College of Design. In 1998, Amanda graduated with honors, became a design coordinator for several local furniture stores and continued to build her residential clientele.

In 2001, Amanda relocated to Las Vegas where she had the opportunity to work with many high profile clients and accomplished designers including Allison Miller of Miller Design Group. She assisted local real estate firms with their office designs and provided consulting services for potential buyers of upscale homes. Many of her projects in Las Vegas gave her new challenges including working within the constraints of high-rise condos -- it was quite a task to find pieces that not only stayed within the clients' aesthetics and budgets but were also able to fit in service elevators!

After living in Las Vegas for four years, Amanda moved to Tennessee and began her own design firm, AB Home Interiors. Living in the South has helped Amanda gain further knowledge of building strong relationships with her clients and doing what it takes to get the job done while managing to both stay within budget and appreciate the client's wants and needs. Since moving to Tennessee, she has continued her work on residential homes but within the last year and a half has added the design of business offices, investment firms and doctors offices to her Middle Tennessee portfolio.
